Players arrived in the dread realm. After receiving some new gifts to aid them in this perilous realm, the players were getting to know each other when they were attacked by shadow wolves. As the battle raged on a hollowed guardian coalesced from 2 shadow wolves. After the new arrivals vanquished the enemies, Alaric Windshadow made his presence known. After Whandon almost fucked around and found out, Alaric led the group comprised of Whandon, Tia, Steve and Lazlo to the Library of Silent Echoes by way through the Ashen Desolation of the Broken. On the way, shadow wolves attacked once again, almost ending the groups adventure before it had a chance to begin. After a few of the players were downed by these enemies, preying on their already weakened state, Alaric aided them with precious healing potions. With his help, the group held on long enough to defeat these enemies before any permanent damage was done. Alaric, having guided the players to the library, imparts one last nugget of wisdom before departing back into the ashen desolation.

“Beyond these doors lies knowledge that yearns for freedom. Thorne will aid you if the weight of his own torment does not devour him first.”

One can not but wonder what perils await them in this library...
